When I was eight years old, my world turned upside down. My mother was diagnosed with cancer, and the comforting, safe feeling of home was suddenly replaced by hospital smells, IVs, and medications. In the middle of all that uncertainty, Camp4ever came into my life. From the moment I arrived, Camp4ever was a world filled with fun, laughter, and the kind of glitter and sparkle that could brighten even the darkest days. I could just be a kid again—running to amazing activities, going on trips to Disney and 5-star hotels, and making unforgettable memories with friends who understood exactly what I was going through. I spent five summers at camp as a camper and then returned for a sixth year as support staff, giving back to the place that had given me so much. More than just the activities, it was the way Camp4ever made me feel. I was never alone. Every counselor and staff member made sure I had everything I needed—T-shirts, snacks, blankets, and most importantly, a shoulder to lean on. Even at 3 a.m., they were there to listen and care. Those weeks in camp helped me see that there was still so much light in the world, even when things were hard. Camp4ever didn’t just support me during camp. They came to my productions and my birthday celebrations. They also showed up during the hardest times, coming to shiva when my mother passed away. And Baruch Hashem, they were there to celebrate joyous occasions like my wedding. Through every high and every low, the ups and downs of life, Camp4ever has been there—like family. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without Camp4ever. The friends I made there remain some of my closest, and the joy and support I found in those glittery, laughter-filled days still carry me through life. Now, camp is just a few short weeks away, and you can give girls the chance to experience this incredible, life-changing journey that I had. We can only make this happen with your help. Please support Camp4ever and bring the kind of joy and healing that every child deserves. Your kindness will make a world of difference. Thank you!
