Camp4ever is a program of Chai4ever that helps to mitigate the terrifying impact of parental illness (chronic or terminal) on school age children living at home. I had the opportunity to visit Camp4ever four summers ago. I witnessed the incredible energy of the staff and counselors and the amazing atmosphere they created to give children two unforgettable, impactful, priceless weeks. Camp4ever allows these children to regroup and gain the tools they need to thrive despite the challenges ahead.
Chai4ever takes a holistic stance to setting families on a path towards healing and thriving. During the school year, Chai4ever provides tailored assistance to each family to help them maintain a stable routine including the arrangement of meals, housekeeping assistance, transportation to medical appointments, insurance advocacy, school collaboration, homework helpers, counseling, and case management.
