Wow Akiva I’m so proud of your hard work and dedication your such an inspiration!
  • Pinny Gal $146
$146 is a sacred number in the language of people who eat cereal with a fork to save the milk for later. This donation is not just money—it’s a spiritual investment into the sacred mission of my big brother Akiva, who once bravely stared into the eyes of a pigeon and didn’t flinch. They say it takes a village to raise $1800, but I say it takes one unhinged sibling with exactly $146 and no impulse control. Chai 4 ever , I hope you understand that this donation was calculated by multiplying the number of socks I’ve lost this year by the number of times Akiva has said the word “dude” in a mildly condescending tone. I donate this money in honor of: • Akiva’s left pinky toe (which has always been a source of inspiration) • The concept of perseverance, as seen in every crumpled juice box at the bottom of a camp bag • And the eternal battle between good and Wi-Fi in rural Ontario. Let this donation stand as a testament to Akiva’s grind, Chai 4 ever's mission, and the fact that I had $146 sitting around doing absolutely nothing useful. If this donation had a theme song, it would be an off-key recorder rendition of “Eye of the Tiger” played from a balcony while someone yells “RUN FOR CHAI!” Keep going, Akiva. You’ve almost reached $1800, and when you do, I expect a full interpretive dance. Preferably with glow sticks. Preferably in silence. Amen, or whatever the donation equivalent of “let’s goooo” is.

I'm really excited that I joined Raise4ever in support of Camp4ever! My goal is to raise $3600 to send children with sick parents to camp.

Children with a seriously ill parent have it rough. They deal with the realities of disease on a daily basis. They live with a constant fear of Mommy or Daddy leaving them. They need to act like adults in helping their parents cope. These children need the break that summer camp provides, and the chance to laugh, run and play like "normal" children. Their parent's catastrophic illness and the resulting financial distress leaves families unable to afford summer camp, just when it is needed most. This unique camp program gives these kids a reprieve from a challenging home situation, restores their spirits and renews their strength to persevere!

I am determined to ensure that every child that can benefit from Camp4ever!'s program will have the opportunity to do so. My objective is to raise $3600 to enable these children to go to camp and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Please join me by clicking on the donate button now.

Thank you for supporting my efforts on behalf of families fighting cancer and other serious illnesses.
